Materials List

Background - 1-7/8 yards
Cream Solid

Pinwheels, Leaves, and Flowers
(17) Assorted pink, red, and gray prints – 10” square EACH

Basket and Handle
Pink print – 1 fat eighth*

Inner Border and Binding
Red and white print – 3/4 yard

Outer Border
Gray floral – 3/4 yard

Backing - 3 1/2 yards

*A fat eighth is a 9” x 20-22” cut of fabric.

Cutting Directions

From the background fabric, cut:
(1) 16-1/2” square
(168) 2-1/2” x 4-1/2” rectangles

From EACH of (17) assorted pink, red, and gray prints, cut:
(8) 2-1/2” squares. You will have 4 squares left over.

Leaves and Flowers
From the assorted pink, red, and gray prints, also cut:
(19) matching leaves
(6) assorted large flowers
(10) matching small flowers
(10) matching flower centers

Basket and Handle
From the pink print, cut:
(1) basket
(1) basket handle 

Borders and Binding
Prior to cutting, measure the center of the quilt vertically and horizontally to determine the lengths of the border strips. It may be necessary to make adjustments to the measurements below.

From the red and white print, cut and piece:
(2) strips 1-1/2” x 40-1/2” for the sides of the quilt
(2) strips 1-1/2” x 42-1/2” for the top and bottom of the quilt
(6) strips 2-1/2” x width of fabric (WOF) for binding

From the gray floral, cut and piece:
(2) strips 4-1/2” x 42-1/2” for the sides of the quilt
(2) strips 4-1/2” x 50-1/2” for the top and bottom of the quilt
