Pattern Corrections
Planted Seed Designs™ strives to deliver quality written and fully illustrated quilt patterns free of any errors; but unfortunately a few get by us. The pattern corrections for all of our designs can be found here.
"Whirly Blooms" Pattern Correction
Cutting Directions
From the background fabric, cut:
- (30) 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" rectangles
- (288) 1-1/2" squares
The above corrections do NOT affect the overall yardage reflected in the Materials List.
Rustic Romance "Stacked Hearts" Pattern Correction
Cutting Directions
From EACH of the (18) assorted red, gray and pink prints:
- Cut (2) 2-1/2” x 8-1/2” rectangles
- Cut (2) 4-7/8” squares, then cut in half diagonally once to make 4 medium triangles
- Cut (1) 5-1/4” square, then cut in half diagonally twice to make 4 small triangles

Star Block (continued)
2. Four Patch Block
Sew a 2-1/2" cream solid to the left of a 2-1/2" half square triangle.
Sew two units together to make a four patch.
Make 20 burgundy and cream squares and 16 blue and cream squares.

Pieced Center: (2) Fat Eighth Bundles
(80 assorted prints - Fat 8th EACH)
Cutting Directions
From the assorted prints:
- Cut (144) 6-7/8" squares.

Piecing and Constructing the Blocks
When sewing the 1-1/2" wide strips to the muslin base, please make sure the following occurs:
- Strips are cut an accurate 1-1/2" wide
- An accurate 1/4" seam allowance is used at all times
