Re-Imagined Flutter

Re-Imagined from the Flutter Quilt Pattern. We re-imagined Flutter's original design by using a print fabric instead of the background fabric for part of the blocks "wing" design.  The materials list and cutting directions reflect this change.

Background - 3-1/8 yards
Riley Blake Confetti Cotton (Cloud)

Blocks - (1) Tranquility FQ Stack or (20) 18" x 20"
(20) Assorted Blue and Gray Prints

(4) Assorted Cream Prints - 1/2 yard EACH

Sashing Posts and Binding  - 1 yard
Light Blue Print

Backing - 5 yards

Cutting Directions

From the background fabric, cut:
(240) 2-1/2" squares
(80) 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles
(62) 2-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles
(5) 2-1/2” x width of fabric (WOF) strips for Triangle-in-a-Square blocks

From EACH of the (20) assorted blue and gray print FQs, cut:
(13) 2-1/2" squares
(8) 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles
(1) 2-1/2" x 12" strip for Triangle-in-a-Square blocks

From the (4) assorted cream prints, cut:
(5) MATCHING sets of (4) 4-1/2" squares

From the sashing posts and binding print, cut:
(43) 2-1/2" squares
(8) 2-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) binding strips
