Garden of Quilts

Many of you have probably heard about the fabulous quilting event happening later this year hosted by Riley Blake Designs and Thanksgiving Point... and guess what? I'm going to be there!!
Garden of Quilts is this September 12-14 in the beautiful Ashton Gardens located in Lehi, Utah. This event is a celebration of the quilting community and will showcase hundreds of quilts throughout the property!

The best part is there will also be tons of classes hosted by many industry leaders and designers and I am honored to have been included. I will be teaching three classes throughout the event, one on Friday and two on Saturday. I am also going to have a Trunk Show at the event!
Take a look at the gorgeous quilts we will be making!
The Friday class will be making my Criss Cross Stars Quilt out of Gem Stones by PSD2! This quilt is 60" x 72" and is classified as Advanced Beginner. You will need to be confident in making Flying Geese, Square-in-a-Square and Half Square Triangles. If you need to brush up on those skills click HERE for a blog post all about my 6 basic elements of quilting!
The pattern is included in the $60 class registration fee. There will also be kits available for an additional fee. Please visit the class registration page HERE for more details and to save your seat!
My Saturday morning class will be making another quilt from PSD2, the Gem Stones Star Sampler Quilt! This quilt finishes at 60" x 72" and is Advanced Beginner. Click HERE for more details and to register for this class!
If you're a fan of florals then my Saturday afternoon class is for you! We will be making my Majestic Quilt pattern named after my latest fabric collection. This quilt is also for Advanced Beginners (if you're comfortable with the 6 basic elements you're good to go!) and finishes at 60" x 60".
The pattern is included in the class fee of $60. If you choose to buy the optional quilt kit you will be getting my brand new Triangle-in-a-Square Acrylic Tool!! Click HERE for registration options and details!
While I of course hope to see you at this event I know not everyone can make it out to Utah. If you won't be able to attend this event but want to make one of the quilts shown above you can shop the patterns and fabric in my shop! I have linked everything below (please note- some products are not available just yet but are coming very soon!):

I hope to see you this September at the Garden of Quilts!
