NEW! Twist and Turn . . . . This Way or That Way!
Posted by Gerri Robinson on
Floret my NEW Basic Collection for Riley Blake Designs, introduced into the Marketplace earlier this year, consists of (30) over-dyed, richly saturated colors with a ditzy flowing flower bud printed on top for a great universal blender or for an entire quilt.
To support the Floret Collection, I designed 6 quilts featured in our NEW! Twist & Turn pattern booklet here!
The designs in our Twist & Turn pattern booklet consists of (6) designs using the SAME (2) blocks! The full size block finishes at 12" x 12" and the "mini" version finishes at 6" x 6".
The Twist & Turn: 60" x 72" quilt (below) showcases the 12" block using ALL (30) prints from the Floret collection!
The Mini Twist & Turn: 60" x 72" quilt (below) is designed from the 6" mini version block using the Floret prints multiple times!
Combine the 2 blocks together you Lean to the Right: 60" x 72" (or Left with a simple rotation of the blocks) below:
Alternate the rows This Way & That Way: 60" x 72" (below) for yet another layout option!
Using that same concept of rotating the blocks, check out Propellers: 72" x 72" below rotating the full size blocks!
Do you like a Medallion "style" quilt? Check out Medallion I: 48" x 48" (below):
and Medallion II: 48" x 48" (below). Can you see what we did to create the second version?
Look what happens when you sew (4) Medallion I together! You get a GENEROUS Queen Size Medallion I Quilt: 96" x 96" below:
Or if Medallion II is more to your liking. Check out how it looks in a GENEROUS Queen Size Medallion II Quilt: 96" x 96" below:
ALL the designs above use the entire Floret collection; how can you possibly go wrong?
