My Heart (and Shirt) is All A Flutter!

I'm back from the Garden of Quilts and boy did we have fun!
Thank you to all my students who were able to make the trip and make the experience truly memorable! I can't wait for next year's Garden of Quilts event!
My first class was Flutter in the original Gem Stone prints on a black ground.
It truly is a stunning quilt with the gradated colors and tones dancing throughout each block!
AND its part of my 2 designs in 1 pattern series!

Those colors are PERFECT for this time of year!
I could easily call it my Autumn Flutter and Hidden Shoofly don't you think?!
My second class was all about Flutter in Gem Stone Brights on the most perfect creamy white ground - called Cloud!
which also includes Hidden Shoofly in the pattern!
I really encouraged my students to let the colors and tones within each Gem Stone Bright print land where they may in the block giving the quilt that little sparkle when it all comes together.
They were all happy they did!

I did hear a couple students say that it "appeared" you could make BOTH Flutter and Hidden Shoofly quilts from ONE kit but I have NOT put it through a technical edit to validate their statement.

You'll also need ADDITIONAL fabric for the binding and why not pick up some backing too while you're at it! ALL the Gem Stone prints can be purchased here!
