When Tilda's Garden Life Meets Re-Imagined Majestic - Oh My!

Posted by Gerri Robinson on

 Remember Lisa of @thecurvyquilter?

I introduced Lisa to you here and here and here.

Well in true Lisa fashion, she knocked another one of my designs out of the park, again!

Introducing Re-Imagined Majestic in Tilda's Garden Life Collection!

Lisa used prints from Tilda's Garden Life and Chambray Collections, coupled with my Re-Imagined Majestic pattern to create this heirloom beauty!

Check out Lisa's Blooming Baskets!

Don't be intimidated by all the applique pieces.  Lisa used the quick fuse raw edge applique method for her baskets.  A fellow quilter after my own heart!

The overall quilting holds the applique pieces down with no trouble at all!  It really is a nice applique method if you're not interested in doing it the "traditional" way.

 Isn't it just stunning?!

Here's all the details and links if you're interested in making your very own version of a Re-Imagined Majestic quilt!

Majestic (printed) pattern here or a pdf version if that's your preference here!

Blooming Baskets Book (here) for the basket applique and basket layout

Blooming Blossom Templates to get you tracing in no time here

Although NOT required because the Majestic pattern includes a traceable template, but if you want to speed up your cutting here's my Triangle in a Square Ruler.

If Lisa has inspired you to create your own Re-Imagined Majestic quilt, I would LOVE to see pictures!  Progress pictures are fun too!
