Not quite the picture you'd expect, right? No worries. Stay with me though because its about to get really, really pretty!
First off, Happy New Year!
and thank you for following me here on my blog
and on my social media channels

Facebook at Planted Seed Designs.
ALL your support is greatly appreciated!
While I do have my "head down" working on some projects that will reveal themselves in the near future,
my quilting friends have been making and creating some incredible quilts
with Gem Stones and Gem Stones Brights that I can not wait to show you!
First up, Lisa Garber @thecurvyquilter.
I introduced you to Lisa almost a year ago here and again here and here.
Well, check out what Lisa has been up to now!
Staying true to her Instagram name @thecuryquilter, the Posh Penelope by @sewkindofwonderful really got her curve going!
Lisa enjoyed mixing ALL the Gem Stones and Gem Stones Brights to really create lots of depth and dimension in this beauty!
I believe this is the third or fourth Sew Kind of Wonderful design Lisa has created with Gem Stones and Gem Stones Bright!
You can't get any "curvier" than a circle, right?
Meet Oriana!
Pattern by Lisa Hoffman-Mauer and Alison Glass.
Although its name is Oriana, my son, Josh, refers to this quilt as Jupiter!
see any similarities?
Lisa @thecurvyquilter chose colors from both the Gem Stones and Gem Stones Brights collections to really play up the serrated stripes to create the illusion of earth, wind, water and fire!
I think she nailed it, don't you?! Well done, Lisa!
When Lisa @thecurvyquilter gets on a roll, there's no stopping her!
Again using Gem Stones and Gem Stones Brights, Lisa mixed and mingled the colors together in this gorgeous Boomerang quilt designed by Jaybird Quilts!
I just need to take one more peek at this beauty!
Lisa @thecurvyquilter wasn't the only one enjoying the playing, mixing and mingling of Gem Stones and Gem Stones Brights,
Diane Merritt @storyofaquiltdesigns
really hit it out of the park with this . . . .
Tripping Over Gem Stones!
Totally inspired by pictures of a Scrappy Trip Around the World!
Diane @storyofaquiltdesigns cut 2" strips using ALL the prints in the
Gem Stones and Gem Stones Brights collection for a finished 9" block.
Creating this 72" x 90" beauty! Are you trippin yet?
To calm things down just a bit . . . .
Diane @storyofaquiltdesigns RE-FRESHED a published beauty Dressy Dresdens
(in Gem Stones Brights) originally featured in the
Fons & Porter Quilting Quickly Nov/Dec 2018 magazine.
I LOVE how the Dresden Plates really show off all the colors and tones found within EACH strip of the Gem Stone Brights print.
EACH Dresden is reflective of ONE of the 16 Gem Stones Brights colors!
Check out the background too! The low volume shades of Gem Stones Latte, Caramel, Platinum, Rose Gold and Gold were used to really dress up this beauty!
This isn't Diane's first time playing with Gem Stones. You can see several more of her beauties here and here!
Are you on sensory overload yet? I sure hope not because I have a few more beauties I HAVE to share with you!
Peggy True who you met here and here has continued her love of all things Gem Stones too by sewing up this pattern from Cozy Quilt Designs called Cotton Rainbow.
using ALL the (16) Gem Stone Brights prints and
Riley Blake Designs Confetti Cotton Cloud for her ground.
Peggy has renamed her quilt Salt Water Taffy for her interpretation.
I think the name is perfect, don't you?
Our Gem Stone Rolie Polie Strip Quilt featured here
inspired Peggy to create her own Rolie Polie version
which she is calling Stripe it Rich!
I could NOT think of a better name if you paid me!
I know Peggy designed it with the center "stepping down"
BUT look how it looks flipped up!
Do you like the center going UP or DOWN?
I'm totally indifferent! I LOVE it both ways!
WOW! That's A LOT of eye candy to enjoy isn't it!
I can't tease you with all this beauty without teasing you a bit more with a
That's right, ALL Gem Stones fabrics are now 25% OFF

I've LINKED all the patterns above (where a pattern exists) if you're interested
